Edcet results will be announced by month end

Examination conducted smoothly

Visakhapatnam, June 10, 2007

The Edcet convener SKVS Raju said that nearly 91 percent of the applicants took the Edcet examination for admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course all over the State. He said that 1,21,109 candidates took the examination at 325 centres in 38 cities across the State.

The Minister for School Education Damodar Rajnarsimha drew the lots for the question papers at the Andhra University in the morning. AP State Council of Higher Education Chairman KC Reddy, AU Vice Chancellor L Venugopal Reddy and Director and Commissioner of School Education S Balasubrahmanyam were present. He said for Urdu medium, the test was conducted at Kurnool and Hyderabad.
