EdCET Results announced

The Minister for School Education N Rajya Lakshmi on Friday released the results of EdCET 2006. 81.34 per cent of candidates got through the examination. Out of 1,66,538 candidates appeared for the examination. 81.99 per cent women candidates performed better than men with 80.55 percent.

The number of those qualified subject wise includes mathematics 22,883, Physical Sciences 13,066, Biological sciences 25,065 and Social Studies 74,454 said the Vice Chancellor S Jayaram Reddy.
