Edcet 2006 convener, D. Ramakrishna said that the counseling for admissions into B.Ed course for the 2006-07 will commence from December 30. He said that supplementary candidates are not eligible for admission into B.Ed course. Students who have appeared and failed in April 2006 degree examinations and subsequently passed in October / November 2006 are considered as supplementary candidates.

He further said that the candidates who do not have 45 per cent aggregate marks (both language and group subjects put together) in their degree examination are not eligible for admission according to a press release.
