March 11, 2006 - Hyderabad

In pursuance of the orders of the Hon’ble High Court of AP in Writ Appeal No.s 235 and 237 of 2006 dated 08-03-2006, admissions to certain Muslim and Christian minority institutions under 85% minority quota will be conducted by the Convener. Refer:eamcet.dte.gov.in or www.apsche.org for the list of BEd colleges considered for these admissions.

Muslim and Christian minority candidates of all local areas (AU/OU/SVU/NL) qualified in Ed.CET-2005 examination are directed to attend the counseling for admission (into Bed course) into the respective Muslim / Christian minority colleges in the state for the year 2005-2006 as per the schedule given below at any one of the following venues convenient to them.

1. Hyderabad: Sankethika Vidya Bhavan, Masabtank

2. Warangal: Govt. Polytechnic, M.G.M. Circle

3. Guntur: Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Gujjamagundla

4. Visakhapatnam: Govt. Polytechnic, Kancharapalem

5. Tirupathi: S.V. Govt. Polytechnic, Kapilatheertham Road

6. Kadapa: Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Ramanjaneyapuram

The candidates should produce all the certificates in Original viz (1) Ed.CET-2005 rank card, (2) Ed.CET-2005 Hall Ticket, (3) Degree / Provisional Certificate and Memorandum of Marks, (4) Certificate indicating Date of Birth (S.S.C. or its equivalent), (5) Study Certificates from 9th class to Graduation, (6) Degree in respect of the candidates who have private study without institutionalized education, (7) Certificates of minority status in the prescribed form signed by the Head Master of the School in which the Certificate indicating the religion of the Candidates (8) Residence certificate of Father/Mother for a period of 10 years in A.P. excluding the period of employment outside A.P. from M.R.O, in case of Non-local candidates (9) Transfer Certificate and (10) three sets of Xerox copies of all certificates and three recent passport size photographs.

Candidates who fails to produce the SSC Transfer Certificate indicating his/her religion or minority status certificate at the time of counseling will not be considered for admission under any circumstances.

Fee particulars: The tuition fee for private un-aided minority colleges is Rs.12,000/-. In addition to tuition fee, all the candidates have to pay Rs.100/- towards Registration fee and Rs.300/- towards counseling fee. Fee shall be remitted in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Convener, Ed.CET-2005 payable at Hyderabad or in cash at the bank counters available in the admission camp. However, Caution Deposits if any shall be payable by the students at the colleges itself, when they report there for attending the classes.

The state ranks of the last candidate called for counseling for different methodologies.

Muslim candidates of "AU" local area are called to compete for "UNR" seats only since there are no seats available for their local area.

Note :

1.This Notification itself is a call for counseling. No separate call letters are sent to the individuals.

2.More number of candidates are called for counseling than the seats available and hence mere attending the counseling does not guarantee a seat. Candidates may have to stay a day extra if necessary. Candidates have to attend the counseling at their own expenses.

3.Details of the seats available in various colleges will be notified at the time of counseling.
